This flameworked / lampworked glass pendant was handmade by me at my torch in my home studio using soda-lime glass rods.

I love creating small art glass pieces. My creations are one-of-a-kind, hand crafted entirely freehand in a torch flame out of the finest Italian soda-lime glass rods. I love the nature of glass and the challenge of mastering it in its molten state. My work requires steady hands and patience. The inspiration for my pieces comes from flowers, sea creatures, the sky and outer space.

I have been working with soft glass since 2005. I have studied the craft of flameworked glass beads in Williamsburg, Massachusetts, and Central Hong Kong. Aside from these basic bead making courses, I consider myself "formally self taught" and my main focus is on creating implosion pendants and earrings.
